Dr. Katherine S. Cho is an assistant professor in Higher Education at Loyola University, Chicago. Grounded in her experiences as a scholar, educator, administrator, advocate, and organizer, Dr. Cho’s research agenda centers on the potential of higher education to positively transform the campus towards equity and their reality of maintaining systems of oppression and manifesting harm. Her work spans across campus activism; institutionalized racism; labor efforts; and flipping the narrative of “why aren’t students prepared for college” to “why aren’t colleges prepared for our students.”
