International Faculty Forum

The International Faculty Forum (IFF) provides a learning and networking space for faculty at the NYU–NY campus who self-identify as international and those interested in topics impacting international faculty. The IFF was launched in 2024 to support and enrich faculty academic experiences and journeys.

The IFF is intended to support international faculty and Provostial postdoc fellows in their orientation to NYU, connecting them with collegial networks, peer mentors, and resources. As an opt-in initiative, the IFF is open to any faculty member who would like to be connected with faculty peers from NYU–NY to more seamlessly integrate into the NYU academic and scholarly community.

Program Offerings

During the course of an academic year, faculty are invited to participate in:

  • A series of breakfast meetings (four per year) hosted by the Office of the Provost and their partners in NYU Office of Work Life. Participation is opt-in.
  • Roundtable discussions addressing themes related to international faculty, with presentations by expert panelists.
  • ECFI, MCFI, regularly scheduled Writing Salon sessions, and other mentoring and faculty advancement programs offered through the Office of the Provost and the Center for Faculty Advancement.
