The Mid-Career Faculty Initiative (MCFI), a mentoring program created by the Center for Faculty Advancement (CFA), concentrates on the unique challenges that mid-career faculty face in building programs, departments, and institutes; leading initiatives; and nurturing the next generation while also advancing their own careers. Incorporated into the mentoring program is the development of academic leadership capacity, in particular coaching and leadership training in coordination with our external partner Academic Impressions.
