Isaiah Simmons

Isaiah Simmons (he/him) is a current Associate Policy Researcher at RAND studying issues of (in)equity in higher education policy for historically marginalized populations. He is a native of Virginia Beach Virginia, and longtime participant and enthusiastic observer of athletics at the professional and collegiate levels, especially basketball. His current research examines the equity implications of name, image, and likeness (NIL) policies and policy narratives and how they can be leveraged to repair historical harms done to collegiate athletes. Additionally, Isaiah enjoys bass guitar and time spent on the water.
