Dr. Stephanie M. Robillard is a lifetime Bay Area resident. She returns to Saint Mary’s as an Assistant Professor in the department of Justice, Community and Leadership having worked as a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Kalmanovitz School of Education. Prior to completing her PhD at Stanford, Stephanie was a middle school English teacher and school librarian. Her research interests include examining representations of Black girlhood in young adult literature and exploring ways that English teachers can better center students who have been marginalized.
