Blanca Gamez-Djokic is a doctoral candidate in the Critical Studies of Race, Class and Gender cluster at the Graduate School of Education at U.C. Berkeley. Broadly, Blanca’s research interests pivot around emotion, affect, critical pedagogy, schools, and practices and processes of racialization. Blanca received her EdM in Arts in Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a BA in Sociology and Anthropology from Swarthmore College.
