Kaozong N. Mouavangsou is a PhD Candidate in the School of Education with an emphasis on Language, Literacy and Culture, and a designated emphasis on Feminist Theory and Research at the University of California, Davis. She received her MA in Education and BA in English with a double minor in Education and Asian American Studies from the University of California, Davis. Her research examines race, culture and education in Asian American and Pacific Islander students, specifically Hmong Americans with the goal of informing educational policy.
