Dr. Xiang Zhou is an assistant professor of Counseling Psychology in the College of Education at Purdue University. He is interested in understanding how individuals and families in the diaspora survive and thrive. To this end, I conduct research related to discrimination and mental health, parenting and family socialization, cultural diversity and social justice, and culturally responsive intervention. I am particularly interested in diaspora via adoption, immigration, refuge, as well as education.
